News: Prime Minister's exposé: changes in the family benefits system

CenEA’s Press Release presents consequences of introduction of gradual instead of point withdrawal of family benefits proposed by the new Polish Prime Minister in expose on October 1st. According to our analysis such a change in the family benefits system will cost the budget about 0,5
bn PLN annually and together with changes in the child tax credit proposed by the government on September 5th the overall cost will reach 2,1 mld PLN. Over 260 000 families with children will gain, mainly with low incomes.
