Ce2 Workshop 2018


(Ce)2 workshop is a joint initiative of CenEA and CeMMAP. The fifth edition will take place in Warsaw on 2-3 July 2018.

The 2018 edition of the workshop aims at covering topics in microeconomic theory and applications, in particular in the following fields:

Microeconomic applications:

Microeconomic theory:
- Human capital development - Experiments and game theory
- Decision making within households - Information and communication
- Poverty alleviation programmes - Networks and public choice
- Design and evaluation of public policies - Incentives and mechanisms
[Ce2 Call for poster session]

A Poster Session will be organised as an integral part of this year's Workshop in addition to the regular presentations. The programme for the latter has been finalised and is available on the Workshop's webpage. Topics listed above will be given priority and the total number of posters will not exceed 10. The authors of posters will have ample opportunity to discuss their research with other workshop participants. They will be expected to be present during both days of the workshop.


Online submission of extended abstracts describing the research via ce2@cenea.org.pl closes on 20 May 2017. More information can be found in the Call for Poster Session.



In 2012 CenEA initiated the Keynote Lecture Series in Honour of Leonid Hurwicz as part of the WIEM Conference.

The 2018 lecture will be given by 
prof. Orazio Attanasio 
(University College London and Institute for Fiscal Studies). 

The 2018 Hurwicz keynote address will take place in the afternoon of 3rd July and will be a concluding event of the (Ce)Workshop.
