Ce2 Workshop 2019


(Ce)2 workshop is a joint initiative of CenEA and CeMMAP. The sixth edition will take place in Warsaw on 1-2 July 2019.





[Call for papers 2019]

The 2019 edition of the workshop will cover topics in microeconomic theory and applications, in particular papers are invited in the following fields:


Microeconomic applications:

Microeconomic theory:
- Economics of education, skills, and training - Games: theory and experiments
- Trade, technology and labor markets - Information economics
- Identification challenges in applied microeconomics - Communication and networks
- Empirical analyses in economic history - Voting and mechanism design

Only full papers are considered (early versions are welcome). Authors will have 50 minutes for their presentation and they will be expected to discuss another paper presented at the workshop. The total number of presentations will not exceed 16.


There is no conference fee but participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation costs. Online submission via ce2@cenea.org.pl. The submission deadline is 5 April 2019. Notifications are expected by 19 April 2019.


Once the main programme is finalised, a separate call will be announced for poster presentations



In 2012 CenEA initiated the Keynote Lecture Series in Honour of Leonid Hurwicz which concludes the Workshop and is an opening event of the WIEM Conference.

The 2019 lecture will be given by prof. Jörn-Steffen Pischke (London School of Economics and Centre for Economic Performance).
