WIEM Conference 2019
The University of Warsaw, Faculty of Economic Sciences with CenEA (cooperating partner) invite all economists to participate in the 14th annual conference – Warsaw International Economic Meeting 2019.
All economists are invited to submit their unpublished analytical work or new research in all areas of economics with special focus on macroeconomics, international trade, labour economics, education, microeconomics, industrial organization, finance and econometrics. The main objective of this meeting is to stimulate cooperation of researchers from all over the world. Young economists, such as graduate students or post-docs are encouraged to apply. Participants are expected to serve as discussants of other papers presented in the same session.
The Conference is scheduled for 2-4 July 2019 and will be held in the premises of the Faculty of Economic Sciences. For more information on the venue, please click here.
The keynote lecture of the ”Lecture Series in Honour of Leonid Hurwicz” (2nd July) will be offered this year by our keynote speaker: Prof. Jörn-Steffen Pischke, (London School of Economics and Centre for Economic Performance). This keynote lecture is organised by CenEA. It is the closing event of the Ce^2 workshop (see below for more information) and it will open the 2019 edition of the WIEM Conference. Our second keynote speaker this year is Prof. Alessandra Faggian, (Gran Sasso Science Institute) who will give her lecture on the second day of the Conference (3rd July).
