Ce2 Workshop 2019

(Ce)2 workshop is a joint initiative of CenEA and CeMMAP. The sixth edition took place in Warsaw on 1-2 July 2019. The 2019 edition of the workshop covered topics in microeconomic theory and applications, in particular papers were invited in the following fields:

Microeconomic applications:

  • Economics of education, skills, and training
  • Trade, technology and labor markets
  • Identification challenges in applied microeconomics
  • Empirical analyses in economic history

Microeconomic theory:

  • Games: theory and experiments
  • Information economics
  • Communication and networks
  • Voting and mechanism design

Organization:
Only full papers were considered (early versions are welcome). Authors had 50 minutes for their presentation and they were expected to discuss another paper presented at the workshop. The total number of presentations did not exceed 16.

Procedures:
There is no conference fee but participants were expected to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.

A Poster Session was organised as an integral part of this year’s Workshop in addition to the regular presentations. The total number of posters did not exceed 10.

In 2012 CenEA initiated the Keynote Lecture Series in Honour of Leonid Hurwicz which concludes the Workshop and is an opening event of the WIEM Conference.
The 2019 lecture was given by prof. Jörn-Steffen Pischke (London School of Economics and Centre for Economic Performance).
